Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must fulfill educational standards, age requirements, and apprenticeship restrictions as of October 1, 2026.

Educational Qualifications

Candidates must hold a Bachelor degree (Graduation) in any stream from a recognized university or institute. Final year students whose results are not published as of October 1, 2026, cannot apply.

Age Limit & Category Relaxations

Candidate age must be between 20 and 25 years as of October 1, 2026 (born between October 2, 2001, and October 1, 2006).

• Open / Unreserved (UR) and EWS: 20 to 25 years.
• Other Backward Classes (OBC - Non-Creamy Layer): Upper age limit relaxed by 3 years (up to 28 years).
• Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST): Upper age limit relaxed by 5 years (up to 30 years).

Prior Apprenticeship Restriction

Candidates who have already completed an apprenticeship or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training in any commercial bank, financial institution, or corporate organization under the Apprentices Act, 1961, or NATS are ineligible. Candidates with more than one year of regular employment experience post-graduation are also not eligible.

Monthly Stipend & Training Structure

The apprenticeship contract runs for a fixed term of 12 months. Apprentices receive a monthly stipend without additional house rent or travel allowances.

• Metro / Top Cities: Rs 16,650 per month. Applicable in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune, Ahmedabad, and Surat.
• Other Cities and Towns: Rs 14,150 per month across all non-metro branch locations.
• Job Role & Coverage: Selected trainees undergo practical exposure in customer onboarding, documentation verification, loan processing assistance, database updates, and retail mortgage customer relations.

Application Fee

The application fee includes administrative processing charges and applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST):

• General, EWS, and OBC (Male) Candidates: Rs 800 plus 18 percent GST (Total Rs 944).
• SC, ST, and PwBD Candidates: Rs 200 plus 18 percent GST (Total Rs 236).
• Payment Modes: Online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or UPI gateway.

Selection Process & Exam Scheme

The selection involves two evaluation phases:

1. Online Entrance Examination: The test is scheduled for November 7, 2026, and conducted through the BFSI SSC testing platform. The computer-based test comprises objective multiple-choice questions assessing Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, General English, Basic Computer Knowledge, and Financial Awareness.
