Educational Qualification

The educational requirements vary depending on the specific assistant role you choose:

  • AG-III (Accounts): A Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) from a recognized University with proficiency in the use of computers.
  • AG-III (Technical): A B.Sc. in Agriculture, Botany, Zoology, Bio-Technology, Bio-Chemistry, Microbiology, or Food Science from a recognized University; OR a B.Tech / BE in Food Science, Food Science and Technology, Agricultural Engineering, or Bio-Technology.

Age Limit

The minimum age requirement is 18 years, and the maximum age limit is set at 27 years (28 years for Junior Engineer posts) as of August 1, 2026. Standard upper age limit relaxations apply for reserved categories (5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC Non-Creamy Layer, and up to 10 years for PwBD candidates).
